History
Tim Cowell, President of Cowell Chemical, has over 25 years of manufacturing, laboratory and lubrication experience.
In 1981, Cowell began by working for an independent laboratory that served as a consultant for different manufacturing companies. The focus was on the quality control and environmental conditions.
In 1984, Cowell went to work for Chrysler Corporation as a Chemical / Metallurgical Engineer. It was here that Cowell learned about the die casting and machining processes and the need for better understanding of how release agents and lubricants interrelate with their respective manufacturing disciplines.
Starting in 1995, in an effort to put into practice some of the knowledge gained from his experience, Cowell left Chrysler and over the next ten years worked as Technical Director for two lubricant manufacturers. He has always focused on taking innovative chemistry and integrating it into the specific customer’s manufacturing process.
Cowell Chemical Inc. was founded in 2005 with a focus on delivering exceptional value to our customers through innovative chemistry, customized monitoring programs, and process specific training, exceeding their expectations.
